Environmental sensing and modeling to understand land, coastal & atmospheric processes.

CESAM lab research addresses environmental sensing and modeling to understand land, coastal, and atmospheric processes and the interactions between them. The sensing of the different processes relies on a combination of in situ and space borne sensors. The modeling task involves the deployment of hydrodynamic, weather, and hydrological models. The focus was put on the enhancement of the models to transition them to the operational level to provide stakeholders and end-users with advanced monitoring tools and decision support systems.

The goal is the use of AI-based techniques to Forecast weather and renewables in the UAE.
